Annabel Melissa Rose Weeden
Academy Co-Director and Lead Teacher
Annabel has been teaching dance and movement with Liquid since 2017 and became director during 2020. She loves teaching street/hip hop, musical theatre and contemporary. She is a qualified secondary Performing Arts teacher, has Level 2 Exercise to Music and Level 3 in adapting exercise for pre-and post-natal clients.
Duties: Business Management – accounts and bank, fundraising via grant/bid applications, website content management, volunteer and chaperone management,  planning and coordination of events, software management and invoicing, risk assessments, licensing and contracts.
Outside of LDA: Annabel is a Producer at Cast, has a nearly-two year old and loves everything to do with music and theatre!
Jasmine Saskia Goldstraw
Academy Co-Director and Lead Teacher
Jas joined LDA as a volunteer in 2015, started teaching in 2017 and became a co-director in 2024. Jasmine has two BTEC diplomas in Dance. Her dance specialism is lyrical/contemporary and a little bit of jazz and she loves to teach floorwork.
Duties: Choreography, photography and headshots, show prep and music curator, social media manager, costume sourcing, fundraising event management.
Outside of LDA: Jasmine works in sales, loves to plan events, interior design and loves cats! She has a huge interest in art, studying it from GCSE to foundation level and loves anything creative.
Summer Olivia Hawnt
Academy Co-Director and Lead Teacher
Summer joined LDA in 2015, started teaching in 2017Â and became a co-director in 2024. Summer has danced since she was about 3 years old, doing ballet, tap, modern, jazz and performing in local pantomimes.
Dance Specialism: Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Tap.
Duties: Organisation and administration, timetabling, payment tracking, show programme design, communications, social media, choreography.
Outside of LDA: Summer is a specialist TA and loves to watch live music. Summer has a keen interest in art too - having studied it at college with Jasmine too
Gillian Louise Goldstraw
Treasurer/Secretary/Nanny Gill
Gill is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to communities, the money we spend to make Liquid Dance Academy the best community dance academy, and looks after all the staff and students as if they are her own. She is the Secretary for our CIC. Gill has qualifications in childcare and playwork, and ran a scout group for years. To the team and to the youngest children, she is Nanny Gill.
Isabella Natalie Doona
Class Assistant Teacher
Izzy Doona is Liquid's longest serving member! She has been with Liquid since it started back in 2014, and has performed in every show. Izzy teaches our Droplets class with Trinny, supports other classes and checks the technique of the dancers, takes registers, chooses star of the week - then does her own dance class after!
Trinity Summer Goldstraw
Class Assistant Teacher
Trinity (Trinny) has been dancing with Liquid since 2016 and has been moving up the ranks throughout the years. She has gone from being a volunteer in the first class, to teaching the first class, running warm ups and supporting all classes choreography and techniques. Trinny takes aerial and silk classes, took part in gymnastics for years and is super bendy, so she helps us teach some very basic acro safely!
